It can be difficult to distinguish between a truant and a climate activist based solely on their absence from school. A truant typically skips school without a valid reason, while a climate activist may be participating in strikes or protests to raise awareness about environmental issues. Students can also find ways to engage in climate activism outside of school hours to ensure they are still prioritizing their education. **
